The Dipper

The dipper has grown to become a favourite of mine since living close to a river. Its a remarkable bird with its agility to navigating the river currents. Like the mallards they seem to have favoured well since the flood prevention work, though perhaps this is just a good year or we notice them more with less obstructions.
