The Dunnock

Some say the dunnock (Prunella modularis) is a dull bird. True it’s small, brown and quite nervous moving low through bushes and flower beds but it was the first bird that christened my new camera so I’m sticking up for it! It possesses a very pleasant song if not beautiful plumage.
